A Site Visit and a Sunday Picnic

We had a site visit at the Aquarium they're building in Qawra (Malta). What I found strange was that the dome thing photographed above was done in timber. Apparently though it's some kind of timber that's effectively made to resist the degrading effects of sea water and the sun.

We went for a picnic one afternoon in March. All of us pile up in my friend's Tata Sumo and went through an off-road bit just around the Radisson Hotel in Golden Sands and set up there. It was a lazy affair all in all but a much needed break.

A small detour to the bay gave us this amazing view.

Photographic Update

A few photos I hadn't put on here yet. I have a Photographic assignment for this week so I will be showing you that too once it's ready. Our assignment consists of taking photos representing points, lines and planes, composing them into a square frame and creating a composition with these photos on an A3 sheet.

The beach in Winter

One of my favourite places to go right now is Golden Bay. In Summer it's ever so crowded and crammed with umbrellas, deckchairs and the sort. However, at this time of year it's close to deserted and very much surrounded in Green.  I also happen to think that Golden bay  is one of the best places from where to see the sun set. Case in point, I took the above photo just as the sun had set. We went there for a quick hot chocolate/Cider and it was a beautiful(ly clouded) day. :)
